This morning my family of five went to see Elmo Makes Music and Sesame Street Live at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, and it was quite a show. Our three-year-old son sat mesmerized by the fact that Elmo was out of the television for quite a while, before he finally began warming up.
Once the Sesame Street cast sang the ABC song, and Cookie Monster came out to make cookie jar music, the toddler-filled audience was dancing, singing and clapping.
The Sesame Street friends led by Jennie, the new music teacher at Sesame Street, engaged kids and parents through sing-a-long songs and memorable Sesame Street classics, it turned into quite a music fest.
It was a fun show for all the little ones and their parents, and Sesame Street definitely came out swinging. Elmo and his friends showed everyone, how it is possible to make music out of ordinary things, and the kids even helped make music with their hands and feet.
